What we want to see in the buildings we design is very simple: materials, products, and culture made in England, Italy, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, France — our European family. What we do not want are the cheap copied substitutes flooding the market from totalitarian economies that pretend to be “the same.” Everyone knows they are not.
